my determination
This was the first time I saw real the White House!! I'd like to see it closer.....
I think day after day about 2 weeks when I was in Maryland. If I had a time, I sat in front of the personal computer and I watched pictures, blogs, or messages. I can’t believe it has only a week since I left Maryland.
I thought I had studied English hard, but I couldn’t express what I’d like to say. That was regrettable for me. So, I think I must study English harder from now on! And I’d like to study abroad again in near the future!!!!!
It is 1:45am now in Japan. But I am hungry... Is this jet lag!?(^^;)

Kotomi!
I loved reading your blog! It made me think about the past two weeks of AGU over again, as well as the time when I had first came to the United States a long time ago!
Keep blogging and express yourself freely! ^^
Hi Kotomi,
I also enjoyed (in a sad/happy way) looking at Shania's photo CD yesterday. It reminded me what a wonderful group you all were, and how much fun we had during those two short weeks!
I don't know if being hungry in the middle of the night one week after returning to Japan could be jet lag, but maybe it is. Who knows? Don't get into the habit of too many midnight snacks or you will get fat! (not a problem for you as yet!)
Hello, Kotomi!
I'm glad to hear that the program has inspired to learn English more. ^^ I guess to keep blogging is a way to improve your writing skill. :-)
Also, the pictures you've updated reminds me of what I did last year... I just can't believe that it's been a year! Time flies, doesn't it?
Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy the rest of the vacation. ^^
Hello, Kotomi.
I loved the photos you posted on your blog, especially the group photo in front of the White House. (Like you, I've only seen the White House from a distance and would like to see it much closer.)
I think you were very busy during your stay in Maryland, and I'm sure the time passed too quickly!
I understand 100% what you meant when you said, "I thought I had studied English hard, but I couldn't express what I'd like to say." I've felt exactly the same way many times, especially when I've tried to communicate in Spanish. I think both you and I will have to remember two things: "Practice makes perfect" and "Use it [a language that you have studied] or lose it."
Are you still getting hungry just after midnight? I think your "internal clock" is still running on U.S. time!
I do hope you'll be able to return to the U.S. again--maybe to the Grand Canyon in Arizona!
Very best wishes--
Dennis in Phoenix
