Wednesday, 8 August and Thursday, 9 August

On Wednesday, I visited WUSA channel 9. I had never visited a TV station, so I was very excited. I saw a live broadcast of news. There were many things which surprised me. After broadcast, I took photos with the announcer!
After that, I went bowling. I was very tired because I played 5 games, but it was very exciting.

On Thursday, I went Inter-American Development Bank. I listened to speeches by Japanese. I had little knowledge about banking and the IDB, so it was a good lesson for me. After returning to Japan, I’d like to study more about banking and the IDB.
Then, I went to Museum of American Art. There were many works of art in museum, so I couldn’t see all works. I was interested in landscapes.

Hello, Kotomi!
Wow, you played 5 games? You must be really tired! Hahaha... Maybe you aren't because you're younger than me! ^^

I'm looking forward to looking at the pictures you've took at the TV station after you go back to Japan!

Hello, Kotomi.

I think you enjoyed visiting WUSA Channel 9, especially the live broadcast and meeting JC Hayward. I wish I had been there, too!

I think you also enjoyed going bowling. Wow! You played five games! I would've been exhausted even after two or three games!

Your visits to the Inter-American Development Bank and the Museum of American Art at the Smithsonian must also have been interesting. I think the IDB visit must have been extra special for you because of your interest in banking and because of the explanations in Japanese.

I'm glad you've had so many great opportunities during your stay in Maryland! Nina-sensei arranged a very active schedule for you and provided many, many opportunities to practice English and learn about the culture of the U.S.!

Very best wishes--
