Saturday, 4 August

I went Alexandria and Georgetown. Streets of Alexandria are very cute. Buildings are different from Japan. I got on a boat to go Georgetown from Alexandria. On a boat, I could see Washington. wind is very cool.

Hi Kotomi! Because the U.S. is much bigger than Japan, the buildings don't have to be made very tall! In many ways, you can feel the difference between America (a country part of the continent) and Japan (an island country)!

I love boat rides! I love the feeling of the breeze on my skin as the boat moves.

Hello, Kotomi.

I hope you had a good time in Alexandria and Georgetown--and also at the Pentagon City Mall.

Like Nina-sensei, I love boat rides and the feeling of the cool breeze as the boat glides through the water! I have never taken the Potomac cruise, but it sounds wonderful!

Enjoy your stay in the U.S.! I hope you learn a lot and take many wonderful memories back home with you!

Best wishes--

Dennis in Phoenix
