On Tuesday, after class I went to an African-American neighborhood in Washington DC in the afternoon. There were many people who spoke languages I don’t know. Then we went to see the White House. I had never seen it, so I was impressed. But I wish I could have seen it closer.
I’ll be back to Japan tomorrow, so this is the last post from America. There were many confusing things for me, but there were also many valuable things. I’d like to thank you to Nina, teachers, mentors, and all who involved in this travel. And Hiromi, Dennis and Berta, thank you for your comments. Your comments made me so happy! After returning to Japan, I’d like to update new posts and photos, so please visit my blog again.

Hello, Kotomi!
Visiting the neighborhoods that have different cultural backgrounds sounds fascinating. ^^ I'm sure it showed you the diversity in the US.
I've enjoyed leaving comments on your blog all around! I hope that you'll keep blogging after you go back to Japan. ^^
Dear Kotomi,
As I write this, you are in the air over the Pacific Ocean! I hope your flight is pleasant and you arrive in Tokyo safely. It was my pleasure to be a part of your American adventure, and I hope you will keep happy memories of these two weeks. Stay connected! I look forward to reading your future posts on this blog.
Hugs,
Nina
Hello Kotomi~,
Oyomesan~! ^^ I was so glad to receive email from you, letting me know that you have arrived safely at home. I hope you have a good rest, and we'll stay connected through facebook, chat, and blogs, right??? We'll see each other again before we know it, so お互いに頑張りましょう~!
Talk to you very soon!
Your groom ^^
Hello, Kotomi.
I'm sure your trip to the U.S. was a valuable cultural experience, a good opportunity to improve your English skills, and also a lot of fun!
It's interesting (but also a bit of a shock!) to be surrounded by people speaking languages you don't know. I've had the same experience many times!
Thank you for the kind words about my comments on your blog. I didn't comment on all of your blog entries, but I did read all of them, and I enjoyed them a lot.
I look forward to seeing photos on your blog!
Best wishes--
Dennis in Phoenix
